Truth
A fine line between genius and insanity.
It takes a very deranged and manipulative mind to bring some of the truest words ever spoken.

Jawn of The Week
It's been awfully quite around here lately, but I feel this weeks song defiantly makes up for it.
I was originally going to do another hip hop song this week. But when I was about to upload the sample, I stumbled across a song I hadn't listened to in some time.
It starting playing. I sat back, and literally couldn't move.
I had a discussion with Yazeed yesterday about a couple of songs from The Bee's record, "Sunshine Hit Me", (also previously featured in Jawn of the week) I had put on his iPod a couple of days earlier.
We spoke about how it was hard to take in how beautiful the music was. I can't really remember the exact words that we settled upon, and I don't really want to. Songs like these are deeper then language can describe, so there not point in trying.
I was glad that Yazeed was hit by those songs so heavily, and that it wasn't just me getting overly moved and excited by music again.
This song had that same effect on me this morning. The pure rawness of it is breath taking. I'm not going to sit here and grasp at words. I'll just upload the track and let you decide for yourself. I know a lot of people are probably afraid to admit to "feelings", but not to get too soft on you all, but I can't help but appreciate the power of music. I hope you can to.

The GIF That Made Me ROFL Pt, 10
None of the "epic fail" bullshit, just a good old fashion pwn3d will do.

Watching this load for the first time was awesome. As it loaded ever so slowly, frame by frame, I witnessed her dignity bounce off the car and her frail and ashamed body sprawl out on the pavement like turtle stuck on it's shell.
My life soon became much more enjoyable, as I relaised this is possibly the funniest thing I have ever seen. I wish to send this girl a letter informing her on how her clumsiness improved the quality of my life for a good half and hour.

Jawn of The Week
To follow the last post.
One of the many tracks from the Double Barrel LP that will leave you with the urge to to rob a bank / kick someone in the stomach / Rock someone in their face (stab their brain with their nose bone)
the title track. Can't got past it, kicks in straight from a Primo introduction. Ridiculous beat, cuts from DJ Revolution come like icing on a cake.
Marco Polo & Torae - Double Barrel (Feat DJ Revolution)
These tracks go hand in hand, so it's pretty necessary I post both.
MOP have been killing it lately, featuring on several joints severing them all. Lil Fam comes so correct on this.
Marco Polo & Torae - Smoke (Feat Lil Fame & Rock)
Is it just me, or has Hip Hop been killing it this year. I almost have to take my shoes off to count the number of quality LP's that have dropped so far.

Nintendo Love
I decided to move on to Diddy Kong Racing on 64. Cruising along fine, enjoy myself. Then, I got stuck, it always happens, you get up to a certain level that just aint your cup of tea, and playing it just further pushes anger and stress levels through the roof (Fuck i hate Tiptup), and in turn the brain decreases the release of those beloved endorphins that are synonymous with winning!
So I pushed the 64 aside, thinking about all the success that was had with Super Mario World (Finished all 96 Level and Secret Exits!) hopped on ebay and obtained the ever so nostalgic, Super Mario All Stars joint.
We're starting it from the beginning (Super Mario Bros 87) and working our way through.
I must say going from Super Mario World back to Super Mario Bros is a strange experience, "87 Mario" feels drunk, unfit, and overweight, compared to his later, fined tuned, biff fit 91 counterpart. Getting used to smaller jumps and general retarted motor skills is going to take a bit of practice (patience). But you can't go passed Mario, these games are pure genius, nothing really fronts or even comes close in the fun department. Even Mario 64 was... nah fuck that, make that, is the shit! Spinning Bowzer around by his tail! That's whats up!
Which brings up whole heap of memories, I lived for my 64, I got it for my 12th birthday, and still remember playing Mario Kart in K-Mart for like a month before I got mine!
Nintendo 64 Games That Deserve A Serious Mention.
Super Mario 64:
Why it Rocks: Self ExplanatoryMario Kart 64:
Why it Rocks: Self ExplanatoryGolden Eye:
Why it Rocks: - You get to be Pierce Brosnan, dope.
- Natalya and Xenia were kinda fee.
- Battle mode was the ultimate Battle for Supremacy for 12 year olds. If you could rock someone in Battle, you had the basically wood on them in ever facet of living.
- With cheats such as "DK mode", "Paint Ball Gun", "Fast Animation", "Invisibility" and "Tiny Bond" (nothing makes you feel as good as killing people as a midget)
- Weapons such as RC-P90, Throwing Knives, ZMG 9mm, Proximity Mines & The Klob (gets in purely because of the name)

Wayne Gretzky's 3D Hockey
Why it Rocks:- Because it made you feel like a Mighty Duck
- "Checking" people was THE best.
- Engaging in fisticuffs halfway through a match was a perfect way to release teen Nintendo rage if you were losing.
Bomber Man 64
Why it Rocks:- Battle Mode. You literally Drop Bombs on suckas!
- It's soo azn.
Wave Race 64
Why it Rocks:- I used to hire this out from the video shop on the regular, if everything else was out, this was the old faithful.
- It's all about the Free mode, you could just float around and do hand-stands and ride your jet ski backwards into jumps and rocks.
- The graphics were pretty dope for its time. It made you feel as if you were actually in some exotic sunny location, even though you were actually in your bedroom wearing Simpsons Boxer-shorts and and old juice emactic tee.
Micro Machines 64
Why it Rocks:- Basically, it was as if you were pushing your toy micro machines around the house when you were a kid, but instead you could sit down and do it from the comfort of your couch in your Simpson boxer-shorts.
- Unlike every other boring racing game where you drive around Bathurst or some stupid Tokyo Drift type urban terrain, on Micro Machines 64 you get to drive around kitchens, bathrooms and class rooms. Dodging Sinks, Bathtubs and Rulers. Word.
Games I Left Out on Purpose.
Zelda - This game is boring, "quit boring everyone!" Not even a Gold Cartridge is going to help you spice this one up.
Star Wing - My friend had this game, he lived for it, peer pressure and the fear of hurting his feelings took control, and I convinced myself I liked this game. Looking back, this game sucked humus!
F-Zero-X - I don't know how I acquired this game, I definitely didn't buy it. I think it's kind of like a curse. I played it once to see what it was all about and released quickly, it wasn't about anything. Poor mans Star Wing.
Pokemon Snap - Pokemon is dope. Ash Ketchum is the man! Pokemon Snap is stupid. They're basically trying to make Bird Watching appealing to children. Bulba-Bulba-Saur!
Dr Mario - What were they thinking. Thanks for wasting everybody's time.
Games I Wish I Played More as a Child
Banjo-Kazooie - I found this game at an op shop earlier this year, didn't own or play it much when I was a kid. Can't really get into it now. I know I would of loved this back in year 7.
Conkers Bad Fur Day - Never owned this either, I remember it ALWAYS being hired out at the video shop! I could never get my furry little paws on it!
Transformers: Beast Wars Metals 64 - I've never even played this game before, It probably sucks, but I loved the TV so soo hard. Even had mad Chetor and Rat Trap figurines!

Nike SB Comercial
Since the death of 411, I really miss a good skateboarding add. At time the adds were as almost good as the actual parts. (Photosynthesis adds were crazy. The Hour Is Near!)
Such a good cameo!
This is where the big bank of Nike pays off.

Jawn of The Week
Wale - The Sun (feat, Memphis Bleek)
Haven't heard much Wale, only the "Back to the feature joint" to be honest, but, by that alone, I'm quite impressed. Poppy rapping style, very easy to listen to, just oozes swagger and flow.
Memphis Bleek on the other hand, not the best. But it's hard to sound bad a beat so banging.
9th Wonder absolutely murders this sample!!!
Something so beautiful.
When the guitar lick hits, "baaaby"
Wale - The Sun f. Memphis Bleek
Mandrill - I Refuse To Smile

Diamond D

I Had a good chat with Mike this evening at the store. We got onto the subject of Diamond D, bumped a few tracks, and both got incredibly hyped on how much of a king Diamond D is to Hip Hop. Unfuckwitable beats and suave ass lyrics.
Had to post a couple of my favorite tracks of his, because is Diamond D aint the definition of that Golden Era Hip Hop shit, then I don't know who is.
The Hiatus (The No Wonduh intro is also a banger!)
The film clip is pure gold! Epitomizes New York City. Do note - Diamond D's hand movements, no ones is as nice with it!
Best Kept Secret - I remember hearing this track in an old INFMS skate video - Andy Bautista's section, damn good skateboarder too!
I Flip Styles - Soo so smooth, on some James Bond demeanor right here.
It's been said many times. But looking at hip hop today, compare it back to this. Shit man. The 90's was whats up. Hip Hop was about intelligence, rhyme skills and a message to send. The beats were hot to death, and shit was talent, flat!
"The Man" got nervous, young talented dudes rapping with reason, educating the youth, encouraging people to stand up to authority and question the authority the world around them. Music had flavour, music had flare!
Dare I turn the radio on now, its fucking dribble. Stations are run by big records companies and its less about the music more about some jock faggot hosts and a compition. The only shit that's getting played is some dumb ass kid with a gimmic and nothing to say. Talk about dumbing down a nation. Man kind is becoming more zombie then human these days.
Welcome to a land of ringtone beats, brain dead anthems and catch phrases, put out to distract people from the real issues at hand.
Take me back!
I'm out.

Beauty & The Beast
The Beauty and the Beast episodes have started on Epicly Later'd!SO HYPED FOR THIS!!!
Beauty and the Beast is one of the dopest videos to get you amped on skateboarding.
This will be mega.
Episode One!
Jawn of The Week
With the popularity of the Dilla joint I posted last week, I thought I'd pick another one from the vast vault of the Jay Dee Beat CD's.
But hold up, this ain't all give, and no take here. I need some help! What am I talking about you ask? Well, this week I've got 2 tracks for you.
The Beat - must be played at high volume, let those drums slap and those bongos swing! The gate ridden vocal cuts on this joint are so haunting! and the the hook! my mans!!! Definite banger.
The Sample - This track is beautiful. The bongos, the piano, and some of the nicest vocals (Damn catchy!) I've heard in a while. I really need to know who this song is by? If anyone know, stop holding out!!! I need to hear more! I'm in love.
When I first heard the Dil's Beat Shop mix, I started listening, thinking it would be all the usual's (A heap of Donut's originals and a certain Rene Costy break we all know to well)
But then as I got further in, I was slapping my forehead with excitement (Yes I do that when I'm excited). How could I ever doubt J Rocc, some of the samples in this mix are out of this world, A heap of tracks Dilla used for a lot of his unreleased beats. So deep!

Cool New People Part 3
On Myspace, The cool new people are considered especially heinous. In Perth city, the dedicated bloggers who investigates these vicious felonies are members of an elite blog known as Yeah-Homies.
These are their stories.
*Appropriate Sound Effect*
This has been the regular segment on Yeah Homies. If you're a new reader, you can check out the previous posts here.
Whilst I may feel a little guilty picking apart these peoples lives like some sort of seasoned knot bread, I quickly realise that these people deserve to put under the microscope, anyone that puts this stuff on the internet deserve such.
First, let me introduce to you, Choppsta!
Choppsta is a 20 year old Male from Pt Pirie in South Australia, and is currently in a relationship (Sorry ladies)
What first drew me to Choppsta was his subtle yet very unique hair style.
Then I was intruiged by his collection of sunglasses

He even keeps a pair with him when he's hard at work! Just incase someone (he) takes a photo, ya know.
Whist it was his "About Me" that drew me in even further.
Fuckin opra ayy!!
And finally, a nice shot of the boys from the "Night Out" album.

Next up we have DJ Ernest! He seems to be a regular star on the Cool New People, my bet he's Tom's private DJ.

How to be a House DJ 101.
1) Listen to House (Not the tv show, but that wouldn't hurt either)
2) Buy a pink shirt - (Preferably from Live / Myer Basement)
3) Hold a CDJ (Must be Denon make)
4) Take photo (Wearing said Pink shirt)
5) Upload to myspace/facebook/twitter and announce to the online world that you are now DJ
Why not upload the same photos twice. One colour, one grey scale... Really why not?

This photo is from the Mucking around in the DJ Booth album.
and by DJ Booth... do you mean, your parents lounge room..?
Now we have, Cr@ig. Known for his half name, half email address.
Cr@ig is a 28 year old living breathing protein shake. He's weird a mix between Vin Diesel and Snoop Dogg. His pasison for human growth hormans and love for graffiiti and weed is a odd yet interesting combonation.
My favourite photo album of his is entitled "Gym"

What are you a plant?
"Clean the abbs up...Don't trip?"
Uhh... What..?
Too much time on your hands and too many mirrors must be a deadly combo.

This is my favourite photo, he kind of looks like Brain from The Ninja Turtles.
And just a weed leaf coming out the ass because why not?

Whilst we're on the theme of bodies.
Here we have (~#=SCOTT=#~) a 23 Year old, Apprentice Chef, from Geelong.
I've bolded the parts I found comical and added comments in red in the About me:

"Woot!!! best beer..."
Well, I know for a fact that you've never even tried this beer, for if you had, there is no way you would be "Wooting!!!" about it. It taste like pig urine (Yes, Swine Flu)
A bottle a day?
Nightmers?
Dude, lay off the google image search.

I would pay you to get this tattoo. I didn't think you could make a heartagram any gayer, but, you've actually managed it. well done.
I now introduce you to, iLLy from Melbourne.
This one speak for itself.
I'm actually living soo hard for the abswing in the background!

Last but no least, a quick one. Esat Vardar who's also from Melbourne, I think he may be related to iLLy.
I feel kind of guilty poking fun at this photo because he almost looks blind...

Butter Updates
A couple of new posts are up on the Butter Website.www.quite-buttery.com
Be sure to be watching.
Bookmark / Hotlink / Morse Code that shit.
Rainboarding
A couple of photos from Sunday's skate, unsavory conditions made this one a little more difficult then usual. After a nice session at ye old basso park we met up in the city and then ventured on to Subi Primary.

Everyone (bar perhaps, Al Borland) must bow down to the shear thickness of McLachlan's beard. Truly Epic.
I got a little too excited by the exotic flamingo posses of Geldi.
"But it will take more than belly fire to be the next Baryshnikov."

Bowring - G'd up!
The focus on Romney's face is exquisite.
